Request a data deletion or export
Email support@bluereacher.com with DELETE in the subject and say what you want removed. We verify it is you, confirm the scope in writing, delete from live systems within 30 days, and tell you when it is done. Want a copy first? Put EXPORT in the subject instead and we send that before anything is removed.

Start with which one you are
The answer genuinely differs, because the person who can erase your data is the person who decided to collect it.
You have a Blue Reacher account
Ask us to delete the account and everything in it, or name a narrower slice: one contact, one list, one campaign's message history. Send it from the email address on the account so we can tell it is you.
What happens next: We confirm the scope in writing before anything is removed, then delete from live systems within 30 days.
A business messaged you using Blue Reacher
That business decides who is on its list, so it holds your data and is the one who can erase it. We can stop the messages immediately and act on our side as the processor, and we will pass the erasure request to the sender.
What happens next: Replying to the message with a request to stop suppresses you across that sender's whole account in seconds, before any email is read.
You only visited this website
Then we hold very little: analytics about the visit, and an email address if you gave us one. Say which and we will remove it. Cookies you can reject in your own browser settings without asking anyone.
What happens next: Nothing about a website visit is tied to a login, so this one is usually done the same week.
What happens after you send it
Four steps, in this order, and the order matters: nothing is deleted before you have seen what will be deleted.
- 1Send the requestEmail support@bluereacher.com with DELETE in the subject, from the address on the account where there is one. Say what you want removed and whether you want a copy of it first.
- 2We check it is youOne identity check, proportionate to what is being asked. Deleting a whole account gets a stricter check than removing one contact record, because the wrong answer to a spoofed request is unrecoverable.
- 3We confirm the scopeYou get back a written list of what will be deleted and what will be kept, with the reason for anything on the second list. Nothing is removed until you say yes to that.
- 4Deletion runs, and you get confirmationRemoval from live systems inside 30 days of the verified request, which is the deadline GDPR sets. You get a written confirmation when it is done, not silence.
What gets removed, and what is kept
Both halves are published, because a deletion page that lists only the first half is describing a promise it does not keep.
Removed
- Account records, users and settings
- Contacts and lists you uploaded
- Message content, threads and delivery records
- Support correspondence, where you ask for it
- Analytics tied to your account
Kept, and why
- Opt-out and suppression records
- Kept in the minimum form that marks a number as do-not-contact. Deleting the record that stops messages would allow the messages to start again, which is the opposite of what the request is for.
- Billing and tax records
- Invoices and payment records for the period accounting and tax rules require them.
- Backups, until they age out
- Backups roll off on their own cycle rather than being edited, and are never restored to bring deleted data back.
Getting an export instead
Same address, different subject line. Put EXPORT in the subject and name what you want: account records, contacts, message history, or all three. It comes back in a machine-readable format you can load into another system, which is what data portability means once the legal wording is stripped out. Asking for an export and a deletion in the same email is common and fine; we export first, confirm you have it, then delete.
Frequently asked questions
How do I delete my data from Blue Reacher?
Email support@bluereacher.com with DELETE in the subject, from the address on your account, and say what you want removed: the whole account, or a specific contact, list or campaign history. We verify it is you, confirm in writing what will be deleted and what is kept, then remove it from live systems within 30 days and confirm when it is done.
How long does a deletion take?
Within 30 days of a verified request, which is the deadline GDPR sets for responding. Most requests are far quicker than that; the clock exists so you know the outer limit rather than having to chase. Backups age out on their own cycle afterwards and are never restored to bring deleted data back.
Can I get a copy of my data before it is deleted?
Yes, and it is worth doing before an account closure rather than after. Email support@bluereacher.com with EXPORT in the subject and we send account, contact and message data in a machine-readable format you can load into another system. Ask for both in one email and we export first, then delete.
A company texted me. Can Blue Reacher delete my number?
The business that messaged you chose the list, so it holds your data and is the one that erases it. What happens on our side is immediate and mechanical: reply asking to stop and you are suppressed across that sender's entire account in seconds, on every line, campaign and automation. Email us as well and we will act as processor and pass the erasure request to the sender.
Will deleting my data stop the messages?
Stopping the messages is faster than deleting anything. A reply asking to stop is detected and enforced in seconds and cannot be overridden by the sender, over the API, or by a rep who never saw the thread. That suppression record is the one thing kept after an erasure, because it is what holds the block in place.
What does Blue Reacher keep after a deletion request?
Three things, each named rather than buried: the minimum opt-out record that keeps a suppression in force, billing and tax records for the period the law requires, and backups until they age out on their own cycle. Everything else in scope is removed from live systems.
Requests are handled by Sagency International LLC, which operates Blue Reacher. The full handling rules are on GDPR and data handling, the legal instrument is the privacy policy, and the practices behind them are on the security page. None of this is legal advice.
