Know who gets the blue bubble before you send
A silent lookup tells you which contacts can receive iMessage, one at a time or across a whole list, and writes the answer back to each record. Nobody you check is notified.
Included on every line. No A2P registration required.

iMessage · Today
Hi Maria, quick question about the second location. Got two minutes this week?
Sure, what's up?
Mind if I send over how teams your size handle inbound?
Checked before sending: iMessage available
Go for it.
Checked silently first, so the first message went out blue.
Split your list before the first send
Every contact comes back as reachable on iMessage or not, and the ones who aren't route to RCS and SMS automatically.
Bulk checks in the background
Upload a CSV or pick a CRM segment and the whole list is checked in the background, with the result and a timestamp written back to each record.
The rest still get reached
Contacts who aren't on iMessage route to RCS, then SMS, from the same line, with no branching for you to build.
Phone numbers and email addresses
Many decision-makers have iMessage on an email address as well as a phone number. Both check the same way, which widens the reachable pool.
Start with the reachable half
Sequence the contacts who can receive iMessage first, where replies come in at 2-3x the rate of cold email, then work the rest over RCS and SMS.
A fresh check on every send
Every outbound message runs its own check before it sends, so routing always uses the current answer. For a list you haven't touched in months, a bulk check first tells you the split before you plan.
Check from your own code
The same check runs through the API and the MCP server, so a form, a CRM workflow or an AI agent can ask whether a contact is on iMessage before it sends.

What is iMessage availability checking?
Availability checking is a lookup that tells you whether a phone number or email address can receive iMessage. It runs silently, one contact at a time, across a whole segment, or automatically before every send. Contacts who can receive iMessage get a blue bubble from your dedicated line; the rest route to RCS, then SMS, in the same thread.
Questions about availability checking
The questions buyers ask before they start. Anything not here is answered in the answers library.
Does a check send anything to the contact?+
No. It is a silent lookup against the number or address itself. No message arrives, no notification fires and no typing indicator shows.
Can I check a whole list at once?+
Yes. Upload a CSV or select a CRM segment and Blue Reacher checks the list in the background, writing a result and a timestamp back to every record, so you see the split before you send.
How often should I recheck?+
You rarely need to by hand. Every outbound message runs its own check, so routing always uses the current answer. For a list you haven't touched in months, run a bulk check first to plan around the split.
Can you check an email address?+
Yes. Plenty of decision-makers have iMessage registered to an email address rather than a mobile line. Blue Reacher checks both the same way.
Does availability checking cost extra?+
No. It is included on every line at $249 a month. Mobile validation for purchased lead lists is a separate add-on at $0.03 per contact.
