What is Sender reputation?

Sender reputation is the accumulated trust score a phone number or sending identity earns based on how recipients and networks respond to its messages.

Replies, saved contacts, and low complaint rates build reputation. Spam reports, blocks, high volume from a cold number, and messages that go unanswered erode it.

Reputation is why volume alone never works in outbound messaging. A number that sends more than it earns replies degrades until its delivery collapses, regardless of channel.
