Can my team share the inbox?
Yes. One line can serve a whole team: every campaign reply drops into your shared inbox where a human takes the thread, and for GoHighLevel teams replies flow into GHL Conversations so everyone works the one inbox they already use. Threads belong to the account, not to any one rep's number.
The shared inbox is how a deal thread holds more than one seat. Your team works the thread through the shared inbox instead of adding personal numbers to it, so an AE, a solutions engineer, and a manager can all send in the same conversation, and the thread stays with the account when a rep moves on. That behavior is documented on the group messaging page.
How you split lines across the team is a structure choice rather than a product limit. One shared line works when the team runs a single territory out of one inbox. One line per rep means replies land with the person who sent the message. One line per campaign keeps conversations sorted by offer when a single team runs several. The pricing page covers how teams size this.
Campaigns and the shared inbox hand off cleanly. A reply ends the sequence for that contact, pending steps are canceled, and the thread lands with a human, so automation never talks over a rep who has already picked up the conversation.
For GoHighLevel teams there is no second inbox at all: replies sync into GHL Conversations, round-robins and follow-up automations keep working, and reps can answer from the GHL mobile app, so the thread travels with them.
Shared access does not loosen compliance. A contact who opted out is blocked for manual sends too, so a rep who never saw the earlier thread cannot accidentally reopen it. The refused attempt is logged in the audit trail.
