What is Webhook?

A webhook is an automated HTTP callback that notifies your system in real time when an event happens, such as an inbound reply or a delivery status change.

Instead of your software repeatedly asking whether anything new happened, the messaging platform pushes each event to a URL you control the moment it occurs.

In outbound messaging, webhooks are how replies, opt-outs, and delivery states reach your CRM without a human copying anything.
