Why are my business texts not delivering?

Usually carrier filtering. Business SMS from unregistered or mis-registered numbers gets silently dropped, and even registered traffic gets filtered when the sending pattern looks automated: high volume from a fresh number, identical messages, link-heavy content, or complaint spikes. Silent is the operative word: the carrier returns no bounce, so the sender sees nothing wrong.

Diagnosis starts with the route. If the traffic is SMS, check registration status first: unregistered A2P traffic is throttled or blocked outright, and a campaign registered under a vague description gets filtered as if it were unregistered. The carrier filtering entry explains the mechanics; the step-by-step diagnostic is in why business texts stop delivering.

If registration is clean, the pattern is the suspect. Fresh numbers sending at volume, messages that read identically across hundreds of sends, and shortened links all score as spam. Fixes are behavioral: pace up gradually, vary copy, send from a number with history, and honor opt-outs instantly, since complaints weigh heaviest of all.

The structural fix is moving conversations to a route without a filtering layer. iMessage travels as data, so there is no carrier filter deciding whether your message lands; delivery states report what actually happened. What that architecture looks like is on the A2P 10DLC hub.
