The working mechanics of the channel: how mass iMessage sending actually works, what the blue and green bubbles signal to a buyer, which message templates earn replies, and how a team shares one inbox without talking over each other. These are the guides for teams already sold on the channel who now have to run it well, written from the operator's seat rather than the vendor's.

Apple pulled one-tap Suggestions from Messages days before iOS 27 shipped. They are back in the iOS 27.2 beta, firing less often for one early tester, with separate off switches in the code. Here is what that does to a rep's text on a prospect's iPhone.
Apple released iOS 27 today. The Messages feature that led most of the coverage was removed from the build three days before release and has no date. What shipped instead is a quieter change to green-bubble threads that takes rows out of your inbox without taking engagement out of your pipeline. Read from Apple's own release notes and launch coverage on 14 September 2026.
Apple shipped a Messages update on 14 September 2026 that rewrites three things a sales team measures without touching a single thing a sales team does. Reactions stop being text. Suggested replies start sounding like the person sending them. Failed sends retry without telling anyone. None of that is a feature announcement for outbound, and all of it lands in your numbers.
Group threads cap at 32 people and expose every recipient to every reply, and blasting from a personal number gets deliveries quietly killed. What actually works for bulk iMessage: a dedicated line sending individual threads, paced, personalized, with opt-outs handled.
The bubble color is a compressed trust signal, and it changes how a sales message gets treated before a word is read. Here is the mechanics of what each color means, how iOS filters unknown senders, and what that does to response behavior when the sender is a business.
Consumer iMessage was built for one person, so teams that want shared visibility need a different architecture: dedicated business lines whose threads sync into the CRM. What that looks like in practice, what to require from any setup, and where standalone inbox apps fit.
Twenty-seven sales texts you can steal, grouped by the eight jobs they actually do, each with the reasoning that tells you when to send it and what to change.
